Westerhope is ideally located to the north-west of the city centre with excellent transport links and a friendly community with an array of shops and services.
The village of Throckley is rich in history, notably the world famous Hadrian’s Wall passes through the village. Located to the west of the city centre the area offers fantastic views over the Tyne Valley. There is a wide variety of shops and cafes, churches, a medical surgery and a post office. There is a strong feeling of community in the village of Lemington with an array of groups such as the British Legion Club and a male voice choir.
The Lemington Centre provides a range of craft and wellbeing activities, or if you enjoy the outdoors, you can take advantage of the beautiful scenery on the banks of the River Tyne.
